Can you please add a new field in order to set the frequency of changing the readout value (once per 15 min, per 30 min, per 3 hours and so on)?

Yes please. That would be a good option. because constant change of a fingerprint is kind of a unique fingerprint itself! OR another option could be not to change the fingerprint while the user is on the same tab.
