New Yorker - can't see headline links when javascript disabled

Open rjesop opened this issue 7 years ago • 0 comments

I've always been able to see headlines on the New Yorker website with javascript disabled but this has changed since yesterday. I am getting the same problem on my phone (on which I use Brave browser which has inbuilt script blocking).

If I enable javascript I can see the headlines but I can also see ads and they can track how many free articles I've read. If I turn it off I can browse as before except I now can't see headlines and have to hover over them to see the link address which contains the title of the article. Any way around this?
