Not Finding Specific Device

Hello,

I have installed the app on two phones, both LG Phoenix 4 running Android 7.1. I have enabled "Broadcast Device" on one of them, but when I scan, the phones cannot detect each other. They each pop up with a long list of other devices, but cannot find each other. I have added the location permissions in AndroidManifest.xml, and have also commented out the builder.setServiceUuid code. Is this how the app is intended to be used -- one with "Broadcast Device" on and one with it off?

have you been able to resolve the issue you encountered? If not might you be able to clarify?

  • The specific project that pertains to the issue (for example: the 'BluetoothLeGatt' project)
  • Steps to repro the issue, including the API version and Android device model
  • If the issue is not about a sample, would you please file on Stackoverflow or the issue tracker and we will take a look there?
