0.22.0 (or any versions) stuck at opening screen

Describe the bug The installer or any modules/apps installed into it get stuck on the opening screen and stay there. This has occurred on any and all versions installed, including the latest release

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error
