Support replace mode

Currently only insert mode is supported, and judging by the comments in code you have at least considered supporting other modes. Do you have some insights, how difficult would it be to support replace mode?

To clarify with йцукен, pressing кы in normal mode to replace the character under cursor with ы instead of s.

I don't think it's possible. AFAIK replace mode isn't actually a mode? Kakoune seems to read a character directly from terminal, so no remapping is possible here, again, AFAIK, but I may be wrong. IIRC there was a plugin by alexherbo2 which implemented Vim-like replace mode, where you could have typed text, to overwrite existing one continuously. It should be possible to remap this, as it was a user mode, but it's not a part of Kakoune, so remapping something like that needs a custom support.
