How about a special mode for android cars?

1. Activated in the settings once permanently.
2. When the android device starts, track recording starts automatically.
3. When the car stops and the android device turns off, the cached records was already saved temporarily.
4. When the device turns on again, cached tracks gets saved permanently and a new recording gets initialized subsequently.

If there is not too much duration between car stop&restart then instead of initiating a new record, the previous recording can be resumed. That treshold duration can be defined in the settings.
