Protected areas species lists

"Following from the question on Friday about the BioInv species lists for protected areas, whether the data are the publically available dataset, or an enhanced product from our lab.

The answer is:

a) the original data came from here: http://www.ice.ucdavis.edu/bioinventory/bioinventory.html

b) they were modified in our lab to resolve to a consistent taxonomy, remove locations with incomplete species lists, and species location outliers as determined by intersection with range maps.

BUT

c) on Walter's advice Jonathan is now generating a version for you based on the original unfiltered, publically available data

I'll put all the files, including the revised ones up on dropbox shortly."

"The revised reserve species lists are now in Dropbox\MoL\PolygonalOccs.

The 3 files which have the new occurrence list by reserve are: MammalData.xls AmphData.xls BirdData.xls"
