Big picture for /type/gallery/

On /type/gallery/, it would be nice to always have a big picture (e.g. use the first attachment associated with the post if there's no featured image), and make them bigger than they are.

This mockup gets part of the way there.

Alternatively, we could do two by two rectangular images a la old Facebook to increase information density.

I like that quick mockup up top. What's your thought for where navigation would fit? Might be a bit tricky to fit it properly across screen sizes.
