Hi Adrew,

In the case you have 2 BLE devices (upstairs and downstairs). I'm looking for a solution that allows me to locate users within the house. As for presence detection, I can use the Router (Unifi) data.

A few questions :

  • In the case an user goes from downstairs to upstairs will the mobile connect to the upstairs BLE device or not ?
  • You wrote you can have a RSSI value with a script. Do I need to execute this command once to make this active for each of the mobile devices ?
  • I suppose based on what I've read the mobile can only pair with one BLE device. Would there be a way to triangulate somehow ?
  • Would it be possible to deploy this solution on VB Linux image ? If so, did you do any testing with this and you share ?
