Check for Stata 16

Using Stata 16, I received an error "No Version of Stata Found". I'll submit a pull request with a fix to text_2_stata.py. It can also be fixed by just manually setting stata_name to StataSE (for my version of Stata which is SE).

@caesarljs have you tried to fix it my re-setting stata_name from auto to StataSE or StataMP? You can do that in the settings file. It worked for me yesterday.

Opening up your settings

Change stata_name to your version of Stata (e.g., StataSE or StataMP).

I'm on Windows and using Stata 16 and it open a new Stata window whenever I run a line of Stata code. Is this expected? or am i missing something?
