Invite users to vote via unique link (QR code) rather than email.

I am hosting an event where I want all attendees to vote in a rank-choice civs poll.

The contexts of this event means that I don't have an authoritative set of all attendees' email addresses. I would like to generate dozens of unique links (then encode them as QR codes) which can be passed out to attendees to anonymously allow them each to vote in the poll on their phones. There doesn't appear to be any way to do this by default.

Is this a feature for which support could be added or is there a way to currently do this?

Interesting idea -- this is not currently supported but would not be very difficult to add.

Any way we can get some traction on this? I don't know your code base at all but I suppose I could dig into it and try and find a good way to do this. Any chance you could help me make this a reality?

The event I am hosting is in 1.5 months and I would love to have this feature implemented and deployed by then.

My time to hack on this system is limited but if someone wants to add it I would be supportive and give feedback on PRs.

Hmm okay. I've never used perl before and this code base seems sort of complicated. I am pretty busy as well, I wonder if we can recruit some perl expert to hack it out in a day or two.

Do you have any perl experts among your attendees?

This is implemented for public polls but not for private ones, so the link is not unique to the voter.
