Also would be cool if borgbase would be interested in offering bupstash support eventually once long term storage formats settle down a bit.

They even wrote a mac desktop backup client, but it probably doesn't have a pluggable backup runtime interface (yet?).

If this ticket does not get implemented we should provide a guide on how to get the same result using incremental restores to browse different versions of directories.
