Issue still persists on this branch. To re-create:

  • Go to /trip/create
  • Select a location
  • then change the selected pack. Params clear out and we lose state

I believe you will want to look into how we are using search params on this page. that is the issue i believe. See PackContainer and create trip component + hooks.
