7,000 lines changed, additional language requirement (C++) all for 1 source file and header, and no description all in a single PR. Bold. ;)

I think this might have a better chance of being accepted if the changes were piecemeal, e.g. refactoring the shaders as a single PR before adding q3 shader support.
