Failed building wheel for pyre2 : "C++ versions less than C++14 are not supported."

During pip install and from source make install I have the following log :

wheel_pyre2_error.txt

I'm running Archlinux with python 3.12.3 and abseil-cpp-20240116.1-1

I have successfully fixed this error just by changing that : https://github.com/andreasvc/pyre2/commit/f139977a515d02b396f065102b1986da1326c3ab

But I'm not fully aware of all consequences of this change...

I have also run into this problem on Debian testing, Python 3.12.6
