Install bibisco from source / release a build for raspberrypi

This software seems pretty good, and I'd like to use it on my Raspberry Pi. But neither was there a build that would work on rpi nor were there instructions on how to build/install from source. One or both of those would be great to have.

I had the same issue, also there is no ARM version for the pi.

This is how it works for me anyway:

  • Install electron
  • Download the linux zip archive, extract somewhere
  • Navigate to bibisco/app directory
  • Execute electron .

I am using Manjaro on a Raspberry Pi 400, so it might be different for your distro. But the gist is: Just start electron in the app directory and it works.

Hope that helps.

This is quite an interesting idea, for one could create a "pocket version" of bibisco. Given to the languages used to create I also thought about making it available as a Server, so one could access per browser. That would be pretty neat, for you could access then from wherever you are without taking your laptop with you.
