Lock current cursor position

Is it possible to use the current vertical cursor position as the locked position when entering centered-cursor-mode?

What do you have in mind? Setting it right after clicking or setting it manually? Or even customize the position as default position?

I meant, just for this session. If you need for some reason more lines beneath the cursor, you can set this ad-hoc by simply posing the cursor at the proper vertical position on the screen and active centered-cursor-mode to lock that position for that buffer – until the mode is deactivated again.
