Some questions about the proxy settings for cpan and cpanm.

I've some proxy setting questions relevant to cpan and cpanm as described below:

  1. Do they share the same proxy settings, i.e., the setting of one will be used by the other?
  2. Whether they support socks5 proxies or not?
