Struggling to get the package running

Hello, I am struggling to get the package running. I have svn installed, both git-diff and svn are enabled and my project folder is the subfolder of an svn repository - but I don't see any markups. Did I miss something or do you guys have an idea regarding what could be causing this issue?

For me on windows it workes to download the win32svn binary package and setting the Windows Path variable to the bin Folder.
