Got an error: A compiled version of 'xml_parser' is not available for your platform

Hi, I ran PALM on octave 5.2.0 but got an error. The error reported that in my platform there is no compiled version of 'xml_parser'. I checked the source code, this error was originally from <PALM_LOCATION>/fileio/@gifti/private/xml_parser.m, but I don't know how to solve this problem. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

My OS is Ubuntu 20.04, and the PALM code I used is in a simple format palm -i origsize.dtseries.nii -d design.mat -t design.con -o origsize_avg -logp -n 500
