Yes, I tested this Bookmarks Organizer add-on in a fresh installation of Firefox. It never finished analyzing bookmarks; it would hang after processing about 200, and I could not get it to continue.

Further, what I like about Bookmark Duplicate Cleaner is the granular control provided over which bookmarks stay and which get deleted. I know there is also https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmark-deduplicator but it automatically decides which duplicates get deleted from which folders (following simple hierarchical order) and the user cannot override this behavior.
