Do you have Logseq Sync enabled? iCloud is not a stable solution for Sync disks as it does not have history tracking.

Thanks for your report. Re-index clears graph cache and opening state. This is a known issue. "Refresh" only loads the differences.

Thanks for your report. Logseq supports `icon::` property for a page. Add `icon:: 🫣` as the first block of the page.

Logseq uses a flat naming scheme. So folder location is almost not managed by Logseq.(pages/ journals, or any other foler)
