Plural and singular for labels on comments and pages

Open dylanmoller opened this issue 10 years ago • 2 comments

The status on pages and comments are referred to in the same grammatical number both in the sidebar and per single item as explained in the image below: Plural and singular

I suggest adding a plural/singular version of the different statuses beyond what is currently available.

Thanks for the suggestion, but could you state the language you are referring to? Maybe the line numbers in the code as well?

From what I can tell, this seems fine. The label on the right is an indicator for what "state" the post is in. As you can see in the left sidebar, this is either published, draft or archived. Therefore, none of those are actually plural. A little bit of researched made me think this is Swedish. I do not know Swedish, but as far as I can tell, publicerade means published, and since that is not a noun it can not be singular or plural. However, I could see that this might also mean something else in Swedish. Am I correct thinking this is the line you are referring to? I think it would help us out a lot if you could tell us how you think this would be best worded in Swedish (or whatever the language you are translating to is) and tell us how you think this best translates in English.
