@martinpitt brilliant, thanks! I'm able to use admin mode without sudo installed with your workaround. The systemd-homed error in my journal is a red-herring and is unrelated to this issue.
I might be missing some context, but I think its fair for cockpit to work in my scenario without extra configuration. If I have a working admin escalation method (i.e....
