Possibility to add slow AWG function to user supplies?

Hi:

Here is a possible enhancement to the M2K/Scopy functionality. Would it be possible to add the capability to use the User power supply DACs as slow AWG outputs? Probably will need additions to firmware or alternate ( not standard version ) version. The DACs are serial so I would expect only lower sample rates maybe 1 MSPS max or even up to 100KSPS would be useful. Sample buffer need not be more than 1K or 2K or even 4K would be a lot.

I see one use would be for slow ramps / stair case waveforms for low speed (i.e. DC) sweep tests and things like that. It is most useful because the user supplies do not have the series 50 ohm resistors as the regular AWG channels do. But other wave shapes could be used if a circuit needed more than the 2 AWG channel signals.

I realize that the supplies are unipolar, positive supply is 0 to +5 range and negative supply is 0 to -5 range but still could be useful. User could always AC couple / level shift if need be.

By adding this feature we could claim that up to "4" AWG outputs are supported.

What do you all think?
