Scopy: Does not detect M2K correctly

Open v3rac1ty opened this issue 6 months ago • 3 comments

Environment:

  • OS: MacOS Seqioa 15.4.1
  • Device: Macbook Pro (M3 Pro Chip)
  • Latest FW Version
  • Latest SW Version

Describe the bug The M2K device is not detected correctly in the Scopy software. In the Finder window, I can see the mass storage device. When I installed the drivers, I do remember one of them saying that it was too old a version and I could not install it, could that be the issue? Scopy can see the device, but it appears as a USB DAC rather than the M2K. This does not let me use any of the instruments.

Expected behavior I expect to click on and use all the instruments of the Adalm 2000.

Additional Context I have followed the same installation instructions on my Windows laptop, which works perfectly fine. The M2K is correctly identified, and I can access all the instruments.

That's weird. It looks like the ADC is not identified correctly on the Mac. Can you go to debugger->IIO View and copy and paste that ?

Hi, This issue was fixed. There was a problem on macOS 15 where Scopy failed to load plugins due to duplicate LC_RPATH. Can you check again with the latest version of Scopy ?
