aditof-demo application gets stuck on ToF - AD-96TOF1-EBZ Development Kit

We have integrated above sensor with DragonBoard410C as per the instructions given here. We were able to capture the frames using aditof-demo application using both USB and Network mode on an Ubuntu 18.04 host machine (As per the architecture mentioned here). We observed that in USB mode after some time the GUI application gets stuck and we're not able to get new frames. (The logs can be found in attached 96tof1_freeze.log). It occurs at random time. We never observed the same issue when we tried to capture frames in network mode. Can you throw some light on this?
