FPS drop between v2.1.0 and v3.1.0

i have seen a FPS drop from 5-6 FPS (sdk v2.1.0) to 1-2 FPS (sdk v3.1.0) in aditof-demo. This was tested on RPI3 (USB powered) with FXTOF1. Same results on RPI3 with 96TOF1.
