Documentation

Hi, Can someone answer the following questions for me or preferably point me to documentation that answers questions like these? All the documentation I've been able to find so far has been pretty sparse.

Thanks,

  1. What ranges are short range vs long range modes recommended for?
  2. What is the difference between native and mixed modes?
  3. What are A and B frames?
  4. Are the intrinsics and distortion coefficients in the camera calculated specifically for that unit or is it recommended that we calculate our own coefficients?

Hi @jkablan! Please find here the answers to some of your questions.

  1. The ranges are associated to modes within the SDK; you can find some of them defined here
  1. Since we developed the SDK and this part of the eval-board is developed by the firmware team, please address them in a separate mail.
  1. "AB" is an acronym for Active Brightness. It is similar to the Infra Red image.
  1. Intrinsics and distortion coefficients are calculated for each module and stored on the camera's NVM.

Best regards, Robert Budai
