Please keep fallback-to-feed behavior + consider playback enhancements

Hi there! First off, thank you for building such a clean, accessible podcast app. I’ve been testing Anytime and just discovered that if the queue is empty, the app will play the next episode in the feed. I wanted to say how much I love this behavior! As a blind user relying on VoiceOver, this is a huge win. Sometimes I just want to binge-listen to a single podcast feed or fall asleep with one show playing in order, without having to manage a queue. This fallback-to-feed mode makes that possible, and I hope it will remain a permanent feature. In addition, I wanted to ask if you’d consider adding some optional playback features in the future, such as: Voice boost (for more consistent audio levels) Skip silence Ability to trim intros/outros These are common in other podcast players and would make Anytime even more powerful, especially for accessibility and night listening use cases. Thanks again for the great work, and for being so open to community feedback! A happy new Anytime listener 🎧

Hi @teknoflame,

Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you are finding the continuous play options useful - it's definitely staying!

I would really like to add voice boost and skip silence. It's on the todo list; however, it's a little outside of my skill set at the moment and will take some research, so it might not be added for a while.

Skipping intros and outros is definitely on the list of future enhancements. This will be added as part of the per-podcast settings feature I have planned for a future update.

Thanks for trying out Anytime.
