Where is there no schematic in the Kicad files zip?

Can the schematic files be uploaded so that there can be edits done that will reflect on the PCB.

This is a project which has not had an update in almost 3 years and was made with KiCad 5.1.6-1. Even if you open it in KiCad 5.1.6-1 there is no schematic file, as you say, so no components will be connected to each other. It has been this way for 3 years and this project should basically be an archived project at this point since it's been abandoned. You would be much better off recreating it from scratch or taking a look at the Shinobi Scaler.
