Select count(*) cause application to crash

I've tried this simple query : SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table_name; There is no result although the table got many entries, and in the browser console I got this message : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'aDataSort' of undefined at V (jquery.dataTables.min.js:65) at va (jquery.dataTables.min.js:70) at HTMLTableElement.<anonymous> (jquery.dataTables.min.js:91) at Function.each (jquery.min.js:2) at r.fn.init.each (jquery.min.js:2) at r.fn.init.m [as dataTable] (jquery.dataTables.min.js:82) at inflateData (app.js:209) at Object.success (app.js:47) at i (jquery.min.js:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.min.js:2)

and then nothing works. A page refresh is required to go back to a working app.
