It no longer hides Shorts
With Block Youtube Shorts videos option being selected, I still can see Shorts on my subscription pages, in video page's right pane and in search results.
Yeah this was the primary reason I use Blocktube, so hope it is able to be resolved soon.
Same issue, shorts are no longer blocked. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but this did not fix my problem.

I never claimed to have fixed the issue, it's still an issue for me. I hope it gets fixed soon, high priority issue if you ask me.
People said it so I could have just liked but I'm going to make a comment because I want them gone that much, I'm forced to use tape over my screen.
Shorts are appearing on the homepage, however the blocking function is still working if you SELECT a video - it resolves in youtube.com when clicking on any short
I'm hoping that someone can update it. I don't want to have to pick another blocker and re-block all this stuff.
It saddens me to think this could become abandonware.

Be advised that I haven't tried any of these, so YMMV

I've added the rules from here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gijsdev/ublock-hide-yt-shorts/master/list.txt as a custom rule in uBlock Origin (don't forget to click Update). I can still browse YT, and no more shorts. The layout is preserved, and all looks fine.
Please note that you can easily remove that custom rule, should you find it doesn't work for you. To be safe, I've disabled the BlockTube addon from FF, in case its rules conflict with this new custom uBO rule.
update Oct 22: Having used YT with this script for a few days, I can highly recommend it. YT Shorts have completely disappeared from subscriptions, recommendations, etc.
