The addon is failing after months working fine, looks like Youtube is making changes and this cause that the addon fail, the most common fail is that the 3 point menu does not appear in some cases and in other cases take several time to appear. Other problems from many months ago is that block Youtube lists does not work and the Youtube own ads (banners) are not blocked.
I am using Windows 11, Firefox and Blocktube v0.4.2, please check if you can, thanks.
UPDATE: a day after looks like all works fine again except for the block of the Short Videos sections that does not work.
another problem started a few days ago where Block Youtube Shorts videos doesn't work anymore.
Yes I also noticed the shorts re-appearing. Sadly it looks like the maintainer might not be active anymore, at least going by the activity chart.
This is normal. Youtube makes changes from time to time. However this also means, addons must be kept up to date to work. The last update is from Mar 8, 6 months ago.
Hopefully this addon isn't abandoned.

This filter in uBlock works for now:

Blocking shorts, and blocking mixes/auto generated playlists seems to be broken. I will patiently wait for an update but I figured I'd add my voice.
While we're at it, if those games they added a shelf for could be blocked too that would be cool.
