Font Cutoff on Hourly "chicklets"
The text in the hourly "chicklets" is cut off. It may be because the sizing is not considering the height and location of the scrollbar. It is partially affected by the default font-family and font-size and reacts as it should if changed. However the text is always cut off to some degree. (FYI my default font is Liberation Mono Regular, 12pt.
Hello @EmileighStarbrook , I tested this app in ubuntu 24.10 and and gnome 43.9(debian), I couldn't re generate this issue, can you mention your system information, I believe this issue is due to the scrollbars, is scrollbar hide is working normally in other apps in your system.
I think you issue is related to this https://github.com/amit9838/mousam/issues/167
Hi Amit,
I am running Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS with Cinnamon 6.0.4. Display Server is X11. I am running on an Orange PI 5 Max (8 cores + neural processor) which is based on the Rockchip RK3588. Total Memory is 16G. Disks are both NVME. Display resolution is 1920x1024. Let me know if I can help you with any other information.
You mention hiding the scrollbars and I wonder if you meant the vertical scrollbars. My reference is to the horizontal scrollbar under the "chicklets". I don't know how those would be hidden.
Thanks, Emily

Hi Amit, Just some additional information. In Cinnamon I found a way to resize scrollbars and changed them to 4px, but it did not resize the scrollbars in Mausam.
I also wanted to mention that I think regardless of this issue, it is one of the best user interface designs I have seen in weather applications.
Cheers, Emily

Hi @EmileighStarbrook,
I’m quite certain this issue is related to Gnome, so it cannot be resolved using the SDK alone.
I’ve released a new version (v1.4.0) with the Gnome 47 runtime, which might address the issue. Additionally, upgrading your system could help resolve it.
Hope this helps!

Good day!
First I wish to say such a gorgeous app, thank you for the great work. I use on Fedora laptop and is just beautiful.
I also use on a mobile Linux phone, FuriOS which is Phosh Gnome as you mentioned, and see this exact issue.
Certainly not major issue, but just wanted to inform. I understand mobile linux may not be the intended use :)
I again thank you for such a great app!
