Feature Request: News feed view settable to Inbox (Snapshot) View

I'm liking the integration with Google News Feed but find the Inbox view or "Snapshot view" (top right icon in Feed) more useful.

Would it be possible to have a config option to set this view by default on left swipe (with bridge)?
