Would you be willing to have this added to F-Droid? If unfamiliar, F-Droid is a catalogue of FOSS applications for Android.
I cannot tell if this already meets the requires of the F-Droid inclusion policy. If it does not, would you willing to add a F-Droid friendly build type to gradle?
+1 FDroid is a reputable repository.

It might be better to put it on F-Droid. It supports opensource projects and I believe has some malware protection as well. Think of our endusers, please, auto updates notifications are the way to go.

I guess the problem is 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:11.0.1' dependency.

I checked uploading to F-Droid, but it's not possible because of the Pixel Launcher package name. It needs to have its own distinct package name, which I won't do for the reasons in the FAQ.
Now that the package name was changed, this can be built by fdroid :+1:

This merged PR into fdroiddata means this will be available ASAP via F-Droid, presumably @ https://f-droid.org/en/packages/amirz.rootless.nexuslauncher/ .
