About vrecord compatiblity with Ubuntu 20.04

Hi, I recently had an issue with the workflow I used with vrecord, as I realized: 1) that Blackmagic didnt support the latest MacOs version, to which I upgraded unnoticingly 2) That Blackmagic didnt support my capture device (Intensity Shuffle) anymore, from version 11.7 on. Therefore I had no option than buying a new PC, in which I want to install Ubuntu. It is overall a good machine, with acceptable hardware specs, and I want to install (preferably) Ubuntu 20.04 version. But some part of the manual says vrecord has only been tested on 18.04. Has anyone any sort of experience on trying to install and run vrecord on Ubuntu latest version? I want to make use of 12gb memory and SSD hardware, and have long term support (it will be a computer utilized only to capture video). Best Regards. And thank in advance.

Hi @nihelmasell! Vrecord has been in fact tested on our end to Ubuntu 20.04 and 21.04 and runs well. It is possible that part of the documentation didn't get updated to reflect this - if you let us know where you saw 18.04, I'll update that wording!

Here's the part where I found it. I took a screenshot, don't remember exactly which part it was.
