Another "File did not pass vrecord policy check for FFV1 video" ? issue

Hi all,

I am a first-time-user of vrecord. I just installed verecord on BigSur and last week run a test using the basic insturctions. it kind of worked. Now, I wanted to start with the real process and the following warning came up. I am using Deckling 4K extreme 12G.

As an additional note, I just updated my operating system and I also just updated the the Desktop Video software. When I researched for trouble shooting, it is mentioned to state the issue here. Any help is much appreciated.

In addition, I tried to uninstall and reinstall vrecord again and redid the whol eprocedure. The same issue occured again.

Hi could you send test-vrecord_ffv1.mov.qctools.xml.gz? Does that file exist?

these are all the files I generated as a test. Unfortunately, Github doesnt support the "test-vrecord_ffv1_mediaconchreport.xml" file. Can I convert to you into a preferred file typ?

If you zip the xml, you should be able to attach it. Or paste the contents into gist.gitHub.com and share the link here.

Dear Dave, FYI, I downgraded the OS now to macOS Catalina. Now it works although the same notification appears whereas in BigSur the file wouldnt even generate. Lmk if you need more info.
