PiBar 1.2 Crashing

I am pretty sure PiBar 1.2 Beta can crash periodically. Probably worth a rewrite of the existing polling logic, there is likely something going wrong in there somewhere.

Looks like there isn't any proper resampling when shrinking card photos down into circles on macOS, looks really bad and pixelated.
