We use the very same approach to hide the VPN icon btw. I guess I was misled and this way is still useable:)

Just like DNSCloak we will need to run AG DNS as a DNS proxy. Assigned to v4.1, our DNS library should be able to do this.

Well, AdGuard for Safari should block Twitter ads just okay. Isn't it in your case? Also, AdBlocker Ultimate is a simple rip-off of our old Safari extension.

What filters do you have enabled? Could it be that you hit the 50k limit?

I am 100% sure that Apple won't allow us to do that for content blocking. Web debugging proxy is a different kind of product and they made an exception for...
