Make changes suggested by lighthouse accessibility report

Go to the deployment log and view the lighthouse report from the most recent deploy. There are a bunch of little improvements to improve performance/accessibility that are suggested in the report.

Just gonna keep this general issue as a catch-all for the lighthouse report - eventually it'll probably be better to create individual issues to address specific problems mentioned in the report.
