lineColorField and type smoothedLine don't work together

I've encountered the problem that if I add the graph option lineColorField, the graph don't display the line as smoothed line anymore. Can you confirm that this is an issue or am I wrong?

Hi there,

This is a known issue due to how we changed the smoothedLine algorithm as of v3.21.0 and is the closest fix we can provide in our latest release. This won't be fully fixed due to its complexity as v3 won't be seeing major updates outside of minor bug fixes as we shift our focus onto v4. If you really need a smoothed line with lineColorField that has the curvature intact, you have to use a version older than 3.21.0 (note that you'll have to live with any pre 3.21.0 bugs if you go this route).
