Proofing - mark work completed
Purpose
To Improve the workflow for proofreaders, show where they are in the text and what they accomplished.
Suggestion
The idea is similar to the current page level proofreading progress grid in document summary tab.
- Find the paragraphs and slokas if present in the extracted page.
- Focus on the active blob. Grey out other blobs.
- Allow user to mark blob complete
- Bonus points: these slokas navigate in lockstep with the original pdf/image.
. Text in yellow proofread.
I wonder if a simpler way to do this is to just make the blinking cursor image more visible, and save the user's last cursor position so they see it the next time they open the page?
@epicfaace, last cursor position or an explicit call for action to bookmark the position might work in the near-term.
I think the proposed line-by-line view (or rather, block-by-block) may also help with this in the long term.

Yes, block-by-block will provide a smoother workflow. This is similar to hunks in emacs ediff for merges or git conflict resolution.
