What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name. tesseract-ocr It's an industry standard open source package for OCR.

Is this an update to existing package or new package request? It's a new package request, it's not present in dnf catalogue. I can find it on Ubuntu but not on Amazon Linux 2023.

Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify. Searching on the net, I see that people used to use EPEL to install tesseract-oct on Amazon Linux 2, but currently we use Amazon Linux 2023, so we can't use that procedure to install it.

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)

We have evaluated this package for inclusion in Amazon Linux 2023. This package will be available for AL2023 by the end of 2025. We will update this issue once the package becomes available. Thank you for your request and patience.
