What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name. PPP driver is missing

Is this an update to existing package or new package request? This package existed in AL2

Is this package available in Amazon Linux 2? If it is available via external sources such as EPEL, please specify. This package was available in AL2

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc) Needed for VPN implementations

Which VPN implementation are you looking at? We ship both OpenVPN and Wireguard in AL2023.

Fortinet vpn client.

Client for PPP+SSL VPN tunnel services. openfortivpn connects to a VPN by setting up a tunnel to the gateway. It spawns a pppd process and operates the communication between the gateway and this process.

We use libreswan for ipsec/l2tp connection in AL2 and would like to implement the same in AL2023 but would need the ppp module
