amazon-linux-2023 [Package Update Request]

What package is missing from Amazon Linux 2023? Please describe and include package name. Docker 28.0.4 is the most recent version, at this time, but AL2023.6.20230317 (most recent version we tested) only has docker 25.x versions.

for node the packaging was reworked to use alternatives perhaps docker can get some similar attention. https://github.com/amazonlinux/amazon-linux-2023/issues/725

Docker now include docker compose. Base al2023 version has 'most' features but if you want the --wait flag you need docker v28+
