Yes, this package available in Amazon Linux 2. It's a AL2 Core packages Please follow https://docs.aws.amazon.com/linux/al2023/release-notes/removed-AL2023.6-AL2.html.

Any additional information you'd like to include. (use-cases, etc)

This is needed for several caching use cases

+1, would like to attempt to use this to cache files for EFS mount(s)

edit: nevermind, Q told me EFS has this built in now with efs-fscache
