It is available in CentOS Stream, Fedora and RHEL. It should be available on amazon linux 2023

skopeo is a really great cli tool that we use to verify, copy and sign container images without having to install docker.
(adding the alternative-available label as there are already a variety of container tools in AL2023)
You can built it in COPR as long as your repo satisfy the btrfs-progs dependency

Just to second the original requester that it would be very helpful to have skopeo available as part of the standard Amazon Linux 2023 repository. What is the possibility of it being added?
