is Amazon KCL 1.7.5 compatible with elasticSearch 5.1.1?

Unfortunately the Kinesis Connector Library currently has a direct dependency on a older version of Elasticsearch., and it's a breaking change to update to the newer version.

We are looking at refactoring this project, and are prioritizing that in relation to other projects. Will other affected by this please post a comment, or reaction to assist us in prioritizing changes.
